What’s in a gay icon?

Exploring gay social and cultural history through unique personal insights and fascinating, inspirational stories, the exhibition on display at London’s National Portrait Gallery showcases sixty photographic portraits of famous people, as they were selected by a team of ten high profile gay figures, including Elton John and Sandi Toksvig.
