Music of heavenly grace

For centuries, the word of God and the divine grace have inspired musicians to create cantatas, oratorios and musical poems thus bringing new meaning to these words through musical expression. For 12 years, Latvia celebrates this kind of music with a very successful festival. This year, the International Sacred music festival, organized by the State Choir Latvija includes 5 concerts held from August 10 to September 3, 2009.
