Pharos kicks off new festival

A new classical music festival is introduced into Cyprus’ cultural life and this thanks to the very active Nicosia-based Pharos Arts Foundation. The First International Contemporary Music Festival is destined to promote what its title suggests: music of the 20th and the 21st centuries by avant-garde composers from all over the world. You can enjoy its five concerts on five consecutive evenings, from 26 to 30 of August 2009 at the Shoe Factory, Foundation's recently established venue for intimate chamber concerts, an ideal setting for contemporary music events.
